Forgot password
If you forget your password, click "Forgot password?" on the login page. Enter your email address and click "Send" to receive an email with a link (note: the email may take time to arrive and may be in your spam). The link works only for 3 hours and you can use it only once. Click the link in the email to choose a new password. After that, you can use this new password to log in to your Al-imen account.
If you just want to change your password and you haven't forgotten it, you can do so in your account. Click "Edit" to change your password.
Our measures to protect accounts
Why am I asked to verify my account with a code or to log in again?
Security is very important to us and our customers. We are always improving our security. Our website is well protected so that your information is safe and no one else can see it. We monitor what happens with your account to see if there is anything strange and we will tell you if we find something.
How can I better protect my account?
The best way to protect your account is to have a strong password. Here are some tips:
- Choose a long password. Long passwords are more secure. An 8-letter password can be found in a few minutes or weeks, but a 16-letter password would take at least 34,000 years.
- Use lowercase and uppercase letters, numbers, and special characters. The password "howstrong" would be found in 2 minutes, but it would take 3 weeks to find "H0wStr0!g"
- Do not use the same password everywhere. It is dangerous to use the same password for multiple accounts. It's like having several houses and using the same key for all.
- Choose random passwords. Do not put personal information in your passwords, as this would help cheaters.
- Use a password manager. It is an application that helps you create, keep, and manage unique passwords. It is the simplest and safest way to do it.
What should I do if I see something strange on my account?
If you see that your account is being used in a strange way, contact our customer service so we can block the account and stop the strange use. Our specialists will tell you what to do next.
Edit my personal information
Log in to your account and click on "My addresses."
On this page, you can change your name and delivery address and add your mobile phone number.
When you enter your address, the system may suggest a correction, like a cross instead of a street. If the address you wrote is correct, click on "Written address" and confirm.
If you want to change your address, click on "Address." You can add a new address or change those already in your profile.
Changing the address on the main page will not change the address of orders already placed, only the address for future orders.
Change email address?
You can send your email address change request via support@al-imen.be . By clearly mentioning both the old and the new address, we will take care of changing it for you as soon as possible.
The second option is to change the email address during a new purchase, before payment on the contact details page.
You can also add your mobile phone number to get better help, as we can call you back.
I can't log in
Can't log in?
Check if you entered the correct information. If the error message "Login failed" appears, it may be because you do not yet have a customer account.
Remember: signing up for the newsletter does not mean you automatically have an Al-imen customer account.
Did you lose your password?
Click on "Forgot password?" and enter your email address. You will receive an email with a link to reset your password.

Edit my preferred payment method
You can choose a payment method and set it as your new favorite payment method. To make this change, you must place a new order.
Once the new payment method is chosen, it will become your favorite payment method. Afterwards, Al-imen will keep the previously used payment methods in case you want to choose them again.

Edit my addresses
To change the address of your future deliveries, it is very easy. Go to your "Addresses" in the menu on the left of your customer account. Then change your billing or delivery address. If you do not enter a delivery address, your packages will be delivered to your billing address. You can enter a delivery address different from the billing address. Check your addresses carefully so that your packages are delivered to the desired address.
You can also have your orders delivered to your family, friends, or workplace. If you use a company's address, you do not need to write its name.
Remember: you cannot change the delivery address of an order already placed. But you can cancel it and place a new order.
Delete my bank card data
When you choose or add a payment method, Al-imen keeps it to facilitate your next purchases. If you want to change or no longer keep the information of a card, you can do so.
No longer keep a card
To not keep a card on the Al-imen site, simply do not check the box "keep this card for my next orders" at the payment step. If this card is already registered, you can delete it. To stop pre-registering a payment method, follow these steps:
1- Go to the payment step of an order and click on your registered card
2- On the pre-registered card, click the cross at the top right
3- Tap on the Al-imen logo at the top left of the page
You will arrive on the Al-imen homepage and your card information will be deleted from our site.
Update preferred card information
You can also add an additional card and set it as your new favorite payment method. To make this change, you must place a new order. When selecting the payment method, you can add a credit card.
Once this new card is added, it will become your favorite payment method if you check the box "keep this card for my next orders". Afterwards, Al-imen will keep the information of the previously used card in case you want to use it again.

Phishing and how to protect yourself
Unfortunately, it can always happen that malicious people send emails pretending to be a purchase from Al-imen.
These may be, for example, fake order confirmations and payment invitations. The ultimate goal is to obtain your username and password or to install harmful programs on your computer through attached files.
Do not under any circumstances open links or attachments in these emails.
We always write to you personally and will never ask you by email or phone to give us your password or other sensitive data. We ask you to never share this information by email or phone. Moreover, you can always contact our customer service for free. Only messages with the sender “xxxx@al-imen.be” come from Al-imen.
Do you feel that someone has tried to obtain personal data?
We then recommend that you change your password as soon as possible in "My personal data" for security reasons. Additionally, take the opportunity to check the access data of other important accounts (e.g., online banking service) and modify them if necessary.

Are my credentials secure on Al-imen?
In accordance with our data protection policy, your credentials are secured on our site and Al-imen will never use them under any circumstances.
If Google suggests you change your password on our site, this is not related to a data breach from our site. This suggestion comes from a Google Chrome tool that checks if the password you used has already been involved in a data breach on a site.
When you logged into our site, Google Chrome noticed that the credentials provided may have been exposed in a known data breach attack.

How can I delete my account, or request access to my personal data?
If you want to delete your account, you can submit your request by writing to us at the following address: support@al-imen.be.
When you contact us, do so from the email address you used when registering with Al-imen. This is essential for us to carry out the requested deletion.
It must be kept in mind that we can only delete your account if:
- No invoice is unpaid
- You have no refunds pending or due
- No gift card is credited to your account
- You have no orders currently being shipped
If your account status does not meet the above criteria, we will not be able to proceed with its deletion. If possible, complete any ongoing procedures. Regarding refunds due and orders currently being shipped, please be patient. If your last order is less than 100 days old, your account will be deleted once the return period has expired.
How can I request access to my personal data?
If you want to see your order history, the addresses we have saved when you placed an order, or if you want to access My favorites, go to your account. In this section of our website, you can also check and correct the information we have recorded.

Thanks to a Voice Over function, users can get an audio description of a page, specific text, product images, as well as links on the Al-imen site.
We have succeeded in making these parts of the site accessible and are working to offer the same level of accessibility soon on other parts of our site.

How to request access to my data?
If you want to see your order history, the addresses saved for your orders, view or modify the items in your favorites, go to your customer account. In this section, you will also have the option to check and modify the information we have recorded regarding your preferred brands or sizes, as well as manage your subscriptions to emails and newsletters.
To obtain a downloadable format of your customer data including your contact details, your order history, your favorite items, and an overview of the different times you have contacted us, also go to your customer account. As soon as the file is ready, we will send it to you by email. Although we try to proceed as quickly as possible, we may take up to 30 days to respond to this request.
